Timothy Winters comes to school
With eyes as wide as a football pool,
Ears like bombs and teeth like splinters:
A blitz of a boy is Timothy Winters.

His belly is white, his neck is dark,
And his hair is an exclamation mark.
His clothes are enough to scare a crow
And through his britches the blue winds blow.

When teacher talks he won't hear a word
And he shoots down dead the arithmetic-bird,
He licks the patterns off his plate
And he's not even heard of the Welfare State.

Timothy Winters has bloody feet
And he lives in a house on Suez Street,
He sleeps in a sack on the kitchen floor
And they say there aren't boys like him any more.

Old man Winters likes his beer
And his missus ran off with a bombardier.
Grandma sits in the grate with a gin
And Timothy's dosed with an aspirin.

The Welfare Worker lies awake
But the law's as tricky as a ten-foot snake,
So Timothy Winters drinks his cup
And slowly goes on growing up.

At Morning Prayers the Master helves
For children less fortunate than ourselves,
And the loudest response in the room is when
Timothy Winters roars "Amen!"

So come one angel, come on ten:
Timothy Winters says "Amen
Amen amen amen amen."
Timothy Winters, Lord.

Chakras and Healing

Article by Sarah Johnson

Rahanni Celestial Healing is a ‘hands on’ energy therapy, directing energy from the ‘Heavenly Dimensions of Reality’ to the Solar Plexus, Heart and Brow chakras.  Helping the Healer are divine beings Kwan Yin, Melchizedek and 51 pink angels.  This celestial energy expels negative energies in the form of negative emotions by releasing and converting them into more positive ones such as Truth, Love and Compassion, our natural essence.

The ‘chakras’ are points in the body, usually described as spinning wheels or vortexes of energy which are connected to organs, emotions and layers of the aura.  As this is quite a complex subject, we will discuss the basics of each chakra, to help understand what the Healer is doing during the session.

************

The chakra system is made up of seven main chakras (pictured above) plus other minor chakras in various parts of the body (approx. 260 in total).  These are part of the energy system which consists of channels of energy, which are in constant motion and connect the physical body to the mental and emotional aspects of the mind and the aura.  This energy system or subtle body is thought to be as much a part of our being as organs, veins, nerves and the various parts of the mind.  It is well known that our emotions can cause physical effects, for example, feeling stressed may cause us to have painful shoulders and neck and cancer.  Similarly, blocks in the energy system can cause problems with emotions, mental processes and the physical body.

These channels can become blocked by ‘pockets’ of negative energy which can eventually cause physical, mental or emotional problems.  Imagine that each chakra is a mini vortex which pulls energy from the outermost layers down towards the body.  Any accumulated negative energy in the layers of the aura will be pulled down, manifesting as a mental, emotional or physical illness.  Some may even start off as a mental issue, with thoughts circling the mind, not being able to be released, eventually causing an emotional issue.  These emotions, if not released properly, may eventually become a physical problem, thereby needing the intervention of a medical professional.

These energies need not become an illness in any layer, if they are regularly cleared from the aura by a Healing Practitioner.  ‘Healers’ are able to use their channelled energy, from the  source they receive it from, to safely remove and neutralise these energy pockets – however this will only be for the Highest Divine Good.  This means that, because we are unable to forcibly affect the path that is ‘divinely’ set out for us in the Beginning, if this particular energy in our system is unable to be removed, it must be assumed that it is there for a reason. The Healer can then convey this to the client and will be able to suggest where this energy is from, what part of the mind or body this could affect, and what, if anything, they can do about it.

The part of the body affected by this energy depends on what chakra it attaches to, the level in the aura it is in at the time and usually links with events, feelings or thoughts, even physical symptoms the client is currently experiencing.  When this is cleared, the client may feel a release in the form of relief of a physical symptom, a period of crying or emotional release followed by a good feeling or general lighter, happier emotions or thoughts.

Each chakra deals with a different physical system, hormone, organ and emotion, however they also link together, which is where it becomes more complex.  An imbalance in one chakra can affect other chakras and other systems.  Here though we will discuss the basics of each chakra.  The first effect of an imbalanced chakra is imbalanced hormones.  The effect of an imbalanced chakra is usually similar to the effect of the imbalanced hormones, with the addition of emotional and mental symptoms.

We shall start with the base chakra which is located at the coccyx.  This lowest main chakra deals with our primal needs. As we move up, they begin to deal with higher issues, finishing with the crown chakra which connects us to the Divine through which we receive our energy and guidance through.  People with open crown chakras are usually mediums or in touch with their guides and guardian angels.

Base Chakra

The base chakra is red in colour and located at the base of our spine at the coccyx. Psychologically, red is the colour of aggression and passion.  It is the colour of strength and the physical.  It is connected to the physical layer of the aura called the etheric body. It is an energy outline of the body, an exact replica of each organ and tissue, where the energy of the body is located.  The base chakra deals with fight and flight, our basic animal instincts.  It is this chakra that grounds us and gives us courage, makes us feel safe and able to be independent.  When this chakra is out of balance, it can cause us to feel fearful, rigid and held back.  We can be susceptible to phobias or misplaced fears.

The endocrine gland this chakra connects with is the Adrenals located near the kidneys.  Other parts of the physical body this chakra effects is the kidneys, bladder, perineum, coccyx, legs, knees and feet.  The bones and spine can also be connected to this chakra.

Sacral Chakra

This chakra is located just below the navel.  It is orange in colour, and deals with the sexual reproductive organs.  Its endocrine glands are the testes and ovaries which produce testosterone, oestrogen and progesterone.  The symptoms of the imbalance of this chakra are one of the most noticeable of all the chakras.  It is strongly linked to the emotional layer in the aura and any unreleased energy can cause mood swings, loss of libido, loss of confidence and can make us feel insecure.  The organs this chakra governs are the womb, male and female genitals, and some muscles.  The sacral chakra is linked to the emotional layer of the physical plane in the aura.

Solar Plexus

The solar plexus is located at the diaphragm under the lungs.  This chakra is yellow, which is the colour of joy and abundance, energy, courage and fearlessness.  This chakra also connects us to our loved ones, or people we deal with during the day.  This connection can be thought of as an umbilical cord, where energy is passed between us.  This accounts for why we can feel drained during a conversation with someone who is depressed or more energetic when we are in the company of someone lively.  Also, because of the movement of energy through this centre, this is where our ‘gut instinct’ and ‘butterflies’ come from.  A Healer can help remove these links if they are causing us to become unbalanced which can be indicated by recurring thought patterns or stress linked with another person’s difficulties. This chakra deals with the pancreas, digestive system, blood sugar, intestines and liver and is connected to the mental layer of the physical body in the aura.

In Rahanni energy healing, Melchizedek aides the Healer in balancing the solar plexus.

Heart Chakra

This is located at the heart and is green and pink.  The pink represents the love that is stored in this chakra and the green represents nature and balance. When the chakra opens, a feeling of unconditional love expand through the body and is one of the most beneficial energies the body can produce.  The endocrine gland is the Thymus, which is involved in producing white blood cells for the body’s immune system.  An unbalanced heart chakra can cause bitterness, depression, feelings of loneliness and feeling unloved.  It can also increase your susceptibility to illness.  The heart chakra is linked to the astral body in the aura.

In Rahanni, Kwan Yin and the 51 pink angels work on the heart chakra to promote feelings of love and comfort, converting negativity into positivity.

Throat Chakra

The throat chakra is one that is easily blocked.  It is located at the voice box and is blue, the colour of air and water (thoughts and emotions).  Quite often, we have to hold back on what we need to say, to spare others’ feelings or having missed the opportunity.  Each time we hold these feelings in and do not verbally express them, we cause blockages. This chakra deals with the Thyroid gland, which can easily be affected, and cause hyper or hypothyroidism.  Also when this chakra is unbalanced, it can cause us to become tactless, argumentative and loud.  The chakra also deals with the throat, ears and mouth and is connected to the etheric template in the spiritual plane in the aura.

Brow Chakra

This chakra is located at the ‘third eye’ or the centre of the forehead.  It is deep dark blue in colour and deals with our intuition.  The endocrine gland is the pineal gland which regulates biorhythms with melatonin.  This chakra also deals with the brain and mind function and is connected to the emotional aspect of the spiritual body.  An unbalanced chakra can cause illnesses such as seasonal affective disorder, skin cancer (over exposure to sunlight), headaches and migraine. Mentally, it can cause scepticism and make you dismissive of your spiritual experience.  It is connected to the celestial body in the spiritual plane of the aura.

In Rahanni, this chakra is balanced and used to promote truth.

Crown Chakra

The crown charka is associated with the Pituitary gland which controls and regulates other glands.  It transcends the physical body and controls esoteric anatomy.  It connects people to each other via instinct and intuition and is the link to the higher self.  When this chakra is open, you are able to receive information and insights not usually accessible by the mind.  It has no direct physical effects.  Imbalances here may cause imbalances in other chakras and hormones; however it mainly functions as a channel to the ‘divine’, and therefore connects to the etheric body in the spiritual plane in the aura.
